The strangeness of others is a corollary of our own self-knowledge. Inevitably, there is no person stranger to you, than you yourself. Strangers are useful only as long as they remain strangers. As such, you should take every opportunity to tell your story to people on buses, on movie lines, to anyone who you can guarantee never seeing again. The world is useful like that.

It must be nice for the three of you to be in such a perfect accord. I wonder if any of you has stopped to ask if I agree?
I am pretty sure we know the answer to that, Loretta.
I would ask if I wondered but since I don't wonder I just wander I don't have to ask do I? Hmmmm?
Maybe I will, sometime...
